Water parks in Tenerife

In the mood for a day of water fun under the Canary sun? Tenerife has spectacular water parks that aren’t just for kids. After all, everyone likes to feel like a kid again now and then.

Here you’ll find an overview of the best water parks, including tips and tickets:

Siam Park

Not only the most famous water park in Tenerife, but year after year voted the best water park in the world! The beautifully designed park is built entirely in Thai style and offers spectacular slides, relaxing lazy rivers, and a gigantic wave pool with a white-sand beach.

Insider tips – water parks

• Water shoes: allowed on most attractions, unlike flip-flops. They save you from walking around barefoot and give you extra grip.
• Sunscreen: water + sun = you burn faster than you think. So apply plenty of waterproof sunscreen.
• Food & drinks: you can bring your own, but in Siam Park only in the picnic area and with a €3 storage fee. Both parks also have restaurants and snack kiosks.
• Fast Pass: super handy in high season to skip long queues; available inside the park.
• Height requirements: many of the bigger attractions require a minimum height of 1.20 m — good to keep in mind.
• Shuttle buses: in Costa Adeje there are free buses to Siam Park and Aqualand. Siam Park also offers paid pick-up services from other areas.
• Resident discount: both parks offer discounted rates for island residents (show your resident card).
• Twin tickets: save money by getting a combo ticket — two fun days out for a reduced price.

Unique pools

If you’re looking for something different from the usual hotel pool but not really in the mood for water slides, Tenerife has a few real gems. Costa Martiánez in Puerto de la Cruz and Parque Marítimo in Santa Cruz aren’t just great places to cool off — they were also designed by the famous Canarian artist and landscape architect César Manrique.

The design alone makes a day here truly worthwhile:

Parque Marítimo –  Santa Cruz de Tenerife

A stunning complex with saltwater pools, palm trees, and views of the ocean and the iconic Auditorio de Santa Cruz. Both locals and tourists come here to relax, cool off, and soak up the sun. Perfect to combine with a cultural visit to the island’s capital. Entry €7.50 (€5 for residents), tickets available at the entrance or on the official Parque Marítimo website.
