Los Cristianos

La Camella & El Tanque
Did you know?
The camels you see today in Tenerife belong to the one-humped species (dromedaries) and have developed here into a distinct breed: the Camello Canario. They were brought to the islands as early as the beginning of the 15th century and served as pack animals for centuries. Visiting one of the camel parks is therefore not only fun but also a small journey through the history of the Canary Islands.
